HAPPY TAILS SUCCESS STORIES
Shalea and Skylar came to our facility in May of this year and were adopted in November! They have been our longest guests at the Centre.
Toby was seized in February when he was abandoned and left to fend for himself in a house along with his three feline buddies. When Toby came to us, he was very thin, timid and in poor health. We are pleased to report that Toby was adopted in November by his foster parents.
Kapone was another long-standing guest at our facility. When potential adopters came to look at him, they only saw that he was a black lab who leaped and jumped in his kennel. The Trail Runners K9 Centre in Big River saw potential in him as a working dog that could have opportunities to work in the service industry of search and rescue, drug searches, etc. To date Kapone remains at the Trail Runners facility and is available for adoption.
Trapper's future for adoption appeared to be very bleak. When he arrived at the Centre, he was considered to be wild as he had lived on his own from a very young age. He settled in as one of our guests and became one of our staff's favourites as they saw him develop into a kind and loving pet. Trapper was adopted and has a wonderful home.
